End of November!

I cannot believe it is the last day of the month!  Lots of snow today, which makes the trees so beautiful!  I have so much going on, didn't realize it would be this challenging to keep up on blogging too!
I have been up to quite a bit lately!  I went on a scrapbooking retreat up at Camp Shamineau in Northern MN with my friends April, Renee, Julie, Sarah, Kelly, Cheryl and Julie!  It was the first time I actually got all the projects I had planned out to work on completed during the weekend!  Very excited.

I am also currently taking 2 online classes! I get so excited about learning new stuff and well, just jump in!  I am taking a Illustrator holiday card class at ReneePerson.com and Inspiration Everywhere at JessicaSprague.com.   I will post my work once I start creating them!!!

Lastly, I made a few ornaments for a ornament swap this Sat.  I think they are really cute, that I am making more for my own tree!  I will post pictures on Sat. night.(That way April and Tricia will not have a spoiler since they are in the ornament swap as well!)

Completed!

I completed my Elephant doodle!  I believe Hannah would be proud!  This was created in Illustrator, concept was a drawing from my daughter Hannah!  Hope you enjoy it!

Birthdays!

Do you remember or forget birthdays?  To be honest I am hit or miss with birthdays!  Not a strong suit for me!  Well, my close friend from HS celebrates her birthday Nov. 6th and traditionally I remember on Nov. 9th!  So, Happy Birthday to my friend Annie!

Crazy week!

I just realized that I have something going on each night this week after work!  Please forgive me if I'm not around much!  I'm almost done with my elephant doodle and will be posting my free "Christmas Treasures" element starting on Nov. 11th!

Along with activities or meetings this week my goal is to get pictures selected and ordered online to print out for my scrapbooking trip to Camp Shamineau!  I'm really looking forward to using some of the layouts I've created at past Stampin Up! demonstrator meetings.  It will also give my dedicated time to work on some of my design ideas!

Elephants

Happy Sunday and happy to have gotten an extra hour of sleep!  Which I believe I really took advantage of!  One bonus of fall is to fall back in time, bummer is now the days are getting shorter.  So I am working on a drawing titled; "Elephant".  Inspired by the fact I love elephants and a hand drawn picture by my daughter Hannah.  Here is sneak peak!  Remember I will be a part of the Christmas Treasures Blog Hop starting Nov. 11th! Illustrator

I'm in my last week of my Illustrator class!  I have been watching the videos but not doing the assignments!  I will have to get to those this week.  My plan is to start doing more of my design work in Illustrator.

Getting caught up....

This week I was attending the National Recreation and Parks Association Annual Conference in Minneapolis!  What a great week of education, I am pumped to go back to work on Monday to share what I learned and implement new programming ideas!

Being at the conference this past week, kept me away from my latest class I am taking, True Stories at Shimelle.com.  I plan to start the catching up process on Sunday!

I am also looking forward to my scrapbooking weekend at Camp Shamineau in Nov.  Oct. was a crazy month and I didn't get to do much designing or creating so I plan on hitting it in Nov! Don't forget to watch for the Blog Hop I will be a part of as well!  More info to come.

Girls Weekend Update

I am finally getting to my post about my Girls Weekend I had with Tricia and April!  It was actually a week, we used to take a long weekend and this year we took a week!  Here are some of my projects I worked on.  Magnets for Hannah and Randi's fridge and cards!

I've been working on a doodle font for a blog hop I am going to be a part of.  After working on it for awhile I have decided to go a different route!  Here is where I have left off.  I may finish it, I may not!

Certified Digital Designer!

I'm super excited I got both my Certified Digital Designer Certificate and Blinkie for my blog!  Woo Hoo!  To be honest I really need to figure out how to get the blinkie on here and start blogging daily.  See you soon!

I have so many things swimming in my head that I want to share!  Plus I am trying to get my crafting stuff packed for girls weekend!  It has actually turned into almost a week!  I'm super excited to go, so many different projects to work on!  One will be to finish an album I started last Dec. 09.  Journal your Christmas class online.  There was a daily prompt and I had a blast!  Here is a page!  Keep in mind I was just figuring out how to use photoshop and My Digital Studio by Stampin Up!  Looking back at my pages I would do them differently now but that is the beauty of a learning curve!  I can keep improving!

So I took an online class recently.  Art of Digital Design by Jessica Sprague.  I've passed the written photoshop exam and received a fabulous critique on my mini digital scrapbooking kit!

Doodling

I just love to doodle and haven't done it for so lone!  I've made an effort lately to doodle on a regular basis with the intent of adding them to my digital scrapbook pages!  I'm rather excited about it. Here are a few examples!
